Types of Membership:


i. LIFE MEMBER – All practicing Anaesthesiologists, (MD/DA/DNB) who are enrolled by the Indian Medical Council will be eligible for Life Membership.

ii. ASSOCIATE LIFE MEMBER - All Non-anaesthesiologists (Ophthalmologists, Physicians, Optometrists etc) will be considered for Associate member.

Associate member can serve as Honorary Advisory Board Members of AIOA. They are not eligible to hold office or vote.

Any Anaesthesia PG will have to join as an Associate, and pay full fees. He/she will be moved to permanent life member after passing PG and submitting degree certificate along with Registration Certificate of PG qualification with the Medical Council of India.

Both the above Members should pay an Membership Fee of INR 5,500/- along with Admission Fee of INR 500/-

General Instructions for Membership


  1. Duly fill registration form
  2. Upload your recent passport size photo
  3. Registration fee payment to be done
  4. Secretary will approve your membership
  5. Once approved softcopy of AIOA ID Card will be emailed along with the receipt of the registration fee amount paid
  6. All those persons who subscribe to the memorandum and bye-laws of the Association at the time of its formation shall ipso facto become the members of the Association.

  5. Can deliver invited lectures / conduct workshop at AIOA conference
